O 8K se popularizou de vez pela CES 2020 (Consumer Electronics Show). Se há dois anos ele era raro e no ano passado apareceu com mais força, agora ele é figurinha carimbada em todas as fabricantes de TVs na feira. E, ao mesmo tempo, foi dada a largada para a batalha na indústria. Samsung e LG, as maiores fabricantes de TVs do mundo, são as expoentes dessa guerra para convencer o consumidor que seu 8K é melhor do que o do vizinho.
