Franqueados da rede vão distribuir US$ 2 milhões em vale-refeição de lanches gratuitos para refugiados ucranianos
A rede de fast-food Burger King anunciou nesta quinta-feira, 10, que irá interromper todas as suas operações na Rússia, aumentando a pressão do mundo corporativo contra os russos.
Outros ícones do capitalismo ocidental, como McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, Pepsi e Starbucks, já haviam anunciado que iriam suspender os negócios no país diante da tensão da invasão russa à Ucrânia.
De acordo com o comunicado publicado pela matriz do Burger King, a empresa suspendeu todo o suporte corporativo ao mercado russo, incluindo operações, marketing e cadeia de suprimentos.
